Our Doctors Schedules are by Appointment Only
|
Call as early as possible to schedule an appointment. This is especially important for Large Animal calls as they always require extra time.
| Acute Life Threatening Emergencies are seen by Special Arrangement
If Your Animal Requires Emergency Attention during Business Hours, Call to Verify that we have a Doctor in the Building, and we will see your animal without delay

Both Dr. Martinson and Dr. VandeBerg are very careful to stay on their schedule. Rarely is an appointment delayed more than 15 minutes. We will not delay a regular appointment for a walk in. (We DO NOT see walk ins) Occationly an emergency or other unforseen situation arrises and we get behind. If a large delay developes, we make every effort to call and let you know. If you are on a tight schedule yourself, you may call to see if we are on schedule.
Dr. Donald C. Martinson is our staff surgeon. He reserves the morning for routine and non routine surgery, and sees his surgery appointments in the early afternoon. The rest of the afternoon is reserved for emergency surgery. Dr. Martinson is also occationally out of the office on a cattle call as required by his schedule.
Both of our Doctors have busy schedules. We try really hard to accomodate your needs, but after many years of practice we practice the best medicine when we control its schedule. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Visiting Hours are the same as our Business Hours. While our Doctors encourage Visiting for your Hospitalized Animal, it is best to not visit on the day your animal has surgery. Our Doctors will keep you posted as to progress on that day. Occational an animal does not do well after a visit from it's master. If that happens we may ask that you not visit. Rest assured, this happens rarely and if it does we will keep you posted with its progress.
