I'm looking for career education/development activities for elementary school children, particularly primary and intermediate level children.  Appreciate any help.  Thank you.

One of the programs in use in Escanaba is Career-O-Rom-A, for fifth and sixth grade students.  The kids like it.  Their web site is http://www.wgoh.com/catalog/careeroroma.html

The Real Game is outstanding for middle school.  They have recently introduced a high school version and an elementary version.  I have not personally seen either one, but they will supply samples.  Also, if one person goes to their training [around $400], your school gets a set of masters and unlimited copying rights.  Their web site is  http://www.realgame.com

The state of Utah Dept. of Education Comprehensive Guidance Program has put together a curriculum for elementary career guidance/exploration, as has the state of Missouri.  The materials are available for purchase reasonably.  Utah's website is http://www.usoe.k12.ut.us/ate/compguide/compguide.htm , but their elementary link is not yet complete.  I couldn't find the website for Missouri. What you are looking for is commonly called "the Missouri elementary box".  I'm not sure whether that is from the Univ. of Missouri or from the state dept. of education.  If you can't find it, write back and I'll ask some people I know can answer.  The box is full of resources and activities for elementary students that are designed to meet the NOICC competencies.

I hope this helps you and your students.
