FACT - Facing Alcohol Challenges Together
FACT is an intensive, 2-day prevention program aimed at youth age 10-17, who are at risk for abuse of alcohol and drugs and who have already been detained or arrested for incidents arising from their use. The program is a service of the University of Michigan Health System.
A Tool Kit for Halton Communities
Halton Region, Ontario, Canada, responded to their problems with alcohol and other drugs by mobilizing community resources to protect their youth. The result of their community efforts is this tool kit which can be adapted for use by other communities.
The Prevention Primer, prepared by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, is a well organized, easy to use reference for use by prevention specialists. It uses a public health approach to preventing alcohol, tobacco, and other drug problems. The topics are arranged in alphabetical order, with links to each subject.
Web of Addictions - Fact Sheets
This site features links to dozens of fact sheets developed by many different authors and organizations. All of the fact sheets are in the public domain and may be freely copied and used.

National Longitudinal Study on Adolescent Health
This report discusses the findings of a longitudinal study linking risk factors at home, school, and within the individual to major health issues: emotional health, violence, substance abuse, and sexuality. The entire report is available on-line.
