Voyage 97 Convention

Plans for VOYAGE 97 are well underway and registrations are already coming in. This article is just to inform those of you who haven't registered yet of a few things of interest you may need to know.

Costume Party

Saturday night is time for everyone to dress up. The theme is the sea, from the 'Onedin Line' to 'Sequest DSV'. Pirates, mermaids and monsters--so get out the crepe paper and eye patches and let's see what you can come up with.

Competitions

There will be various competitions at the convention.

Voyage Music Video Competition
Entries are to be available for copying after the convention, so attendees can purchase the music tapes.
Fiction/Poetry Competition
Entries must be unpublished work and PG (16) rated. They will be published in the Voyage 97 fanzine. Fiction entries are to be not more than 20 A4 pages. Submissions will also be accepted from non- competitors.
Closing Date: End of April 1997.
Art/Model Competition
We would also welcome other artwork and models for display only.
There will also be plenty of other things going on at the convention: Writers Workshop, Zine Library, Charity Auction and Raffle, and Discussion Groups on your favourite 'Voyage' episodes.
