Wedding Ring
IMPORTANT: Please note that this is a five-patch block. The finished size is 11 7/8 inches.
1. Cut the pieces.
From background fabric (white) cut the following:
- 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 4. These are your A squares.
- 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 inch square--cut 8, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 16. These are your B triangles.
From red fabric, cut:
- 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 1. This is your A square.
- 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 inch square--cut 2, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 4. These are your B triangles.
From yellow fabric, cut:
- 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 inch square--cut 4, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 8. These are your B triangles.
From darkblue fabric, cut:
- 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 inch square--cut 2, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 4. These are your B triangles.
From light blue fabric, cut:
- 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 4. These are your A squares.
These colors are only for illustration--use any colors you like!
2. Sew the B triangles together into squares.
You'll be making:
- 4 red/white squares
- 8 yellow/white squares
- 4 blue/white squares
3. Sew into the following strips, laying out as shown.
4. Sew the strips together.
Admire--you're done!
