Sister's Choice
IMPORTANT: Please note that this is a five-patch block. The finished size is 11 7/8 inches.
1. Cut the pieces.

From background fabric (white) cut the following:
- 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 8. These are your A squares.
- 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 inch square--cut 4, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 8. These are your B triangles.
From red fabric, cut:
- 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 9. These are your A squares.
- 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 inch square--cut 4, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 8. These are your B triangles.
Red and white are only for illustration--use any colors you like!
2. Sew the red and white A triangles together into squares.

You'll be making:
3. Sew into strips, as illustrated.

4. Sew the strips together.

Admire--you're done!
