1. Cut the pieces.

From background fabric (white) cut the following:

2 1/2 X 2 1/2 inch square--cut 14. These are your A squares.
2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 4, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 8. These are your B triangles.

From blue fabric, cut:

From peach fabric, cut:

2 1/2 X 2 1/2 inch square--cut 4. These are your C squares.
2 7/8 X 2 7/8 inch square--cut 4, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 8. These are your B triangles.

Blue, white, and peach are just for illustration--use any colors you like.

2. Sew the triangles together into squares.

Sew each peach square to a white square.
