Old Maid's Puzzle
1. Cut the pieces.

From background fabric (white) cut the following:
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 5, then cut each diagonally to make two triangles, giving you a total of 10 triangles. These are your A triangles.
- 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 inch square--cut 4. These are your C squares.
From dark blue fabric, cut:
- 6 7/8 X 6 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your large blue B triangles.
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your small blue A triangles.
From light blue fabric, cut:
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your light blue A triangles.
From red fabric, cut:
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your red A triangles.
Red, white and blue are just for illustration--use any colors at all!
