Monkey Wrench
1. Cut the pieces.

From background fabric (white) cut the following:
- 2 5/8 X 2 5/8 inch square--cut 2. These are your A squares.
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your B triangles.
- 5 X 5 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your C triangles.
- 6 7/8 X 6 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your D triangles.
From red fabric, cut:
- 2 5/8 X 2 5/8 inch square--cut 2. These are your A squares.
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your B triangles.
- 5 X 5 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your C triangles.
- 6 7/8 X 6 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your D triangles.

2. Sew the A squares together as shown.
3. Add the B triangles.

4. Add the C triangles.

5. Add the D triangles.

Admite--the block is done!
