Clay's Choice
1. Cut the pieces.

From background fabric (white) cut the following:
- 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 inch square--cut 4. These are your B squares.
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 2, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 4. These are your C triangles.
From yellow fabric, cut:
- 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 inch square--cut 4. These are your A squares.
- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 2, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 4. These are your D triangles.
From red fabric, cut:
<- 3 7/8 X 3 7/8 inch square--cut 4, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 8. These are your E triangles.
Red, white and yellow are only for illustration--use any colors you like!
2. Sew the triangles together to make squares.

You'll be making:
- 4 yellow/white squares
- 4 red/yellow squares
3. Sew the pieces into strips:

5. Sew the block together:

And that's it--the block is done!
