Card Trick
1. Cut the pieces.

From background fabric (white) cut the following:
- 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch square--cut 2, then cut each diagonally to make 2 triangles, for a total of 4. These are your A triangles.
- 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch square--cut 1. Cut into quarters along the diagonals, as illustrated below; these are your 4 B triangles.

From pink fabric, cut:
- 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your A triangles.
- 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch square--cut 1. Cut into quarters along the diagonals, as illustrated above; these are your 4 B triangles. However, you'll only be using 2 of these.
From blue fabric, cut:
- 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your A triangles.
- 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch square--cut 1. Cut into quarters along the diagonals, as illustrated above; these are your 4 B triangles. However, you'll only be using 2 of these.
From yellow fabric, cut:
- 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your A triangles.
- 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch square--cut 1. Cut into quarters along the diagonals, as illustrated above; these are your 4 B triangles. However, you'll only be using 2 of these.
From green fabric, cut:
- 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch square--cut 1, then cut diagonally to make 2 triangles. These are your A triangles.
- 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch square--cut 1. Cut into quarters along the diagonals, as illustrated above; these are your 4 B triangles. However, you'll only be using 2 of these.
These colors are just for illustration--use any colors you like.
2. Make the following four squares from the A triangles.
3. Take one B triangle in each color. Sew together to make a square.

4. Sew the remaining colored B triangles to the white B triangles, like this:

Then, sew each unit to a colored A triangle, like this:
3. Sew the squares into strips:

4. Sew the block together:

The block is done!
